Reviving Racing Heritage and Empowering Tomorrow's Sailors.
The decline of maritime traditions risks losing essential skills and cultural legacy, disconnecting future generations from our rich sailing history.
Our mission is to preserve our local history and foster an inclusive community by supporting marine trade professions and restoring an iconic boat.
The Long Island Sound has a rich history of sailing for us to conserve and commemorate.
On September 20th we formed the Bread Foundation with a mission to promote competitive sailboat racing and preserve a small piece of Long Island Sound history - Not By Bread Alone - a Peterson Ganbare 35 foot sailboat with a legendary racing pedigree that began in 1975 and continued into the early 2000’s.
